2. Free Trial
The free trial allows you to evaluate the Service before purchasing. No payment is required during the trial period. Once the trial ends, continued use of the Service requires an active paid subscription. Because no payment is made during the trial, no refunds apply to trial usage.
3. Paid Subscriptions & Billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). By subscribing, you authorize Paddle to charge your selected payment method automatically.
3.1 14-Day Consumer Right to Cancel
If you are a consumer purchasing Fortbyte.io services via Paddle, you have the legal right to cancel your purchase and request a full refund within **14 days from the date of purchase**, without providing any reason. To exercise this right, you must contact us or Paddle support within the 14-day period. 5. Non-Refundable Situations After the 14-Day Period

- Account suspension or termination due to violation of our Terms of Service
- Failure to cancel a subscription before the next billing cycle

6. Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or Paddle’s customer portal. Cancellation stops future billing.

After the 14-day period has expired, cancellation does not result in a refund for the current billing period. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the paid billing cycle.
